We are seeking a qualified Lawyer with 4 to 7 years of company secretarial experience to join our team in Accra, Ghana. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with a strong willingness to learn and the ability to manage a dedicated caseload with professionalism and efficiency. Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
Key Requirements:
• Qualified lawyer, enrolled to practice in Ghana.
• 4 to 7 years of practical experience in company secretarial work.
• Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992) and other relevant Ghanaian corporate governance regulations.
• Experience preparing board packs, minutes, resolutions, and maintaining statutory registers.
• Familiarity with filings at the Registrar-General’s Department and liaising with regulatory authorities.
• Excellent drafting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively as part of a team, openness to learning.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure Clients’ compliance with Ghanaian legal and regulatory requirements.
• Draft and review corporate documents, filings, and correspondence.
• Assist with board and committee meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes.
• Maintain accurate statutory records and registers.
• Provide legal and governance guidance tailored to Ghana’s corporate environment.
• Manage a dedicated caseload with accountability and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support organizational goals.
